Petit Fours, which opened in March of 2006 in Perrysburg and currently resides in the Historic Oliver House, is modeled after many of the small patisseries and cafés in Europe. The name literally translated from French means “small ovens;” however, in France the term is more commonly used to describe a sweet that can be eaten in 2-3 bites. From the beginning the intention was to feature smaller, European-sized portions of food.
Our tag line, “Chic. Simple. Delicious.” seems to beautifully sum up both the concept and the result!
Karen Lucas, the creator of Petit Fours has recently sold the business to the owners of the Oliver House. She is still an integral part of the workings and has great trust in and admiration for her manager and pastry chef, Liz Grosjean.
